How it hooks in
Setup addsBeforeAgent and AfterAgent hooks to ~/.gemini/settings.json, which bracket a turn, running payback hook gemini-cli <event>.
Gemini CLI deletes its own transcripts after 30 days by default; turning on passive income raises that limit so sessions are still there when they’re offered for review.
