How it hooks in
Setup writes one JSON file under~/.copilot/hooks/ (or $COPILOT_HOME/hooks/), which Copilot CLI loads at start.
Manual steps
Restart Copilot CLI after setup; it picks the hooks up when it next starts.Turning it off
payback pause stops every agent; payback uninstall removes the file.
