How it hooks in
Setup writes payback’s entries into~/.cursor/hooks.json (Cursor’s agent hooks). They run payback hook cursor <event> at the start and end of a turn.

None. If Cursor was open during setup, the hooks are picked up on its next start.Turning it off
payback pause stops every agent; payback uninstall removes payback’s entries.
