# Cursor

> Hooks in ~/.cursor/hooks.json; nothing to do after setup.

## How it hooks in

Setup writes payback's entries into `~/.cursor/hooks.json` (Cursor's agent hooks). They run `payback hook cursor <event>` at the start and end of a turn.

## Manual steps

None. If Cursor was open during setup, the hooks are picked up on its next start.

## Turning it off

`payback pause` stops every agent; `payback uninstall` removes payback's entries.
