# GitHub Copilot CLI

> A hook file under ~/.copilot/hooks/; restart Copilot CLI once.

## How it hooks in

Setup writes one JSON file under `~/.copilot/hooks/` (or `$COPILOT_HOME/hooks/`), which Copilot CLI loads at start.

## Manual steps

Restart Copilot CLI after setup; it picks the hooks up when it next starts.

## Turning it off

`payback pause` stops every agent; `payback uninstall` removes the file.
