# Cline

> Hook scripts in ~/Documents/Cline/Hooks; switch Hooks on in Cline's settings.

## How it hooks in

Setup writes executable hook scripts into `~/Documents/Cline/Hooks/`, named after Cline's hooks. Cline supports hooks on macOS and Linux.

## The one-time switch

In Cline's settings, open **Features** and turn on **Hooks**. Then open the **Hooks** tab and switch the payback hooks on. Until then, `payback status` shows the step next to Cline.

## Turning it off

`payback pause` stops every agent; `payback uninstall` removes the scripts.
